Some bugs in Android Pie

I have some bugs in Pie.

Patches applied to apps (custom patches, patch to remove ads...) are removed after reboot phone.

Installing modded google play (tried with v11 and v12) provokes play store and play services stop working and error with google account synchronization.

In Oreo rom I have it working well with the 3 patches to Android and modded play store.

Folks, is there someone who can manage this and send a logfile?

I am back on Oreo right now and cannot help quickly.

Hi, i known about this problem, but i not have device with android 9 for detailed test and fix this problem. I can try fix this problem if you send logcat for device boot after patch some apps. I need this logcat to [email protected] with writed package name for patched app.

I have the same problem. Installed busy box in different places. At last deleted it and use the magisk module for busy box. But still the same problem.

By the way: if I go to app-info I always read "odex-file cannot be found". Is this related to this issue? Should an odex-file exist after patching an app?

Busybox itself was the issue. I uninstalled BusyBox three times but the last time I did it I searched my phone and manually deleted any folder that had anything to do with BusyBox. Once I reinstalle, it was working properly. The last few folders that I manually deleted had something to do with the boxes being checked to reinstall on boot. Some sort of minor glitch or something causing BusyBox to reinstall on boot even though it was unchecked in the settings. dgunn
For me it's not busybox problem because I don't use any busybox app, only magisk module that works fine in pie.

I literally just registered here to make this same thread. I am running a OnePlus 6 on Android Pie and 3 modded apps work after a reboot but none of the others will. The apps themselves will work but the mods disappear. I suspect BusyBox is the culprit of this issue being it has to be reinstalled after every reboot.

send vdex of specific app before patch and after patch to dev , royal_jane
It happens with every app I tried.

Can't send now because I went back to oreo to be able to use lucky patcher.

Seems like vdex is replaced with original one soon after reboot because for example I opened patched titanium backup just after reboot and it works but after a little while it becomes free version and I check vdex was original one again. Patching it again makes it working until I have to reboot and the same happens. And same with every patched app.
