I dont understand it that well either. So basically what happens is, that the app is installed in the system-priv/app (and the google play store needs it, otherwise It cant install shit and track you) but it doesnt show up in your launcher, since - i assume - somewhere a symlink or sth is missing. Uninstalling this broken installation is difficult - I dont know how I did that (I think just uninstall this system-application, but only If you had no google play store beforehand, otherwise its gone lol.)If you want a tracker-less google play store use Aurora store.

I think since android 9, alot has changed. So also integrating an app to the system app directory in most cases ends up making the apps vanish. thats Propably the case here.
