Is busybox required for Lucky Patcher to run properly

Hi

I don't have busybox installed on my phone and so when I open Lucky Patcher a toast notification appears that says Busybox not found and that Lucky Patcher may not work properly without it. My phone is rooted via magisk and so I have allowed  root permissions to Lucky patcher.

So do I need busybox for Lucky Patcher to work in root mode?

I recommend that you have busybox installed. Some roms have busybox integrated. LP used to promp you to install busybox if it wasnt found on your phone. Dont know if this has changed but I suggest you have it installed for best results.

BusyBox is a collection of powerful command-line tools in a single binary executable that can be run for UNIX based systems, including Android.

Is not necessary at all, I have used Luckypatcher without BusyBox a long time and I don't feel a real difference when I have it installed. However I think it can improve the patching success so I would recommend you to install it. I personally like BusyBox NDK, you can install it from MagiskManager
